"Pyramid Entertainment Group, Inc. is a premiere full service talent booking agency founded in 1988 by Sal Michaels. Sal currently serves as Pyramid’s owner and CEO and is a 40 year veteran of the music business having begun his career at NWA/GTI in the disco era of the 70’s by signing Gloria Gaynor, the underground queen of disco. Shortly thereafter, Sal found that no agency was representing any of the rising disco artists and proceeded to sign nearly all of them resulting in his promotion to partner within the agency. He went on to represent music icons including, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Rick James, Gladys Knight, KC & the Sunshine Band, the Commodores and countless others. He continues to represent legends of the industry including Kool & the Gang, A Taste of Honey, Sister Sledge, Color Me Badd, Tag Team, The Bar-Kays, Bootsy Collins and many others who remain the staple of Pyramid Entertainment’s artist roster.
