.Comprised of a loose-knit group of “lifers” in the music business, UTR ManagementandConsulting as well as The Gateway Podcast and The Gateway Blog were birthed from a combination of more than 100 combined years of DIY ethics and a strong desire to guide and direct independent artists and provide them with access to all of the tools and advantages regularly available to music industry professionals.The principals of UTR Management have represented and/or worked with some of the biggest names in music, owned live music venues (a few of them are considered legendary), produced festivals, published music and entertainment magazines, toured the world too many times to mention, booked thousands of tours, secured numerous record deals, placed songs in movies, television, commercials and video games, developed and marketed brands, secured sponsorships, endorsements, and merchandise deals, promoted shows from basement to arena level, released records and oh, yeah, even played in a few bands.
