Joywave brings The Possession Tour to Trees in Deep Ellum, Dallas TX on Friday June 11th. 
Joywave is an American indie rock band from Rochester, New York, formed in 2010.  The band first became known for its collaboration with electronic music project Big Data, "Dangerous", which peaked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2014. After releasing two EPs, their debut album, How Do You Feel Now?, was released through their own Cultco Music label, an imprint of Hollywood Records, in 2015. Their second album, Content, was released on July 28, 2017. It was followed by their third album, Possession, which was released on March 13, 2020. The Possession Tour, originally scheduled for 2020, was postponed due to Covid 19 and rescheduled to 2021. 

Trees is a 600 person capacity live entertainment venue located in the heart the most vibrant district in Dallas, Texas - Deep Ellum. While its bones are built on rock and roll, today Trees hosts shows for every kind of fan including rap, indie rock and EDM. The building was renovated in recent years and the once ramshackle operation has transformed to compete with  some of the slickest ultra-lounges in town. A trip to Trees is a history lesson--plus you get to hear some great local and national bands.
