With the Citadel Music Festival , an address in the Berlin OpenAir season for more than 10 years, it all started very small. Back in July 2005, the musical foundation was laid with the first concert of Blackmore's Night ; the first test run, so to speak, for the Berlin festival, which actually isn't one at all. The Citadel Music Festival is by no means a 1, 2 or 3 day festival, but rather a concert tour through the most beautiful months of the year (May - September). Organized by the company Trinity Music , which with more than 600 events per year is one of the largest market participants in the concert and event industry in Berlin, the small "festival" quickly attracted a lot of attention.
