For 30 years, the joy of Christmas has been transformed into music. The Christmas Concert was born in 1993 at the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican, as a tool to promote Rome’s Vicariate project “50 churches for Rome 2000”, and to raise resources for its realization. Since then, it has gathered great internationally renowned artists every year for a unique celebration of the most loved and spiritual holiday in the world. A traditional “not to be missed” TV appointment, broadcast on Canale 5 on Christmas Eve from the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican. Each year the concert is combined with one or more charity projects.
