For over three decades, Downtown Alive! (affectionately known as DTA!) has been bringing the party to Downtown Lafayette. What began as a small Friday night street party has evolved into an exciting large-scale concert series attended by thousands of concert-goers. Downtown Lafayette has taken on a new life as the center for great food, live music, arts and culture, and incredible events. DTA! provides FREE live music for all ages during its active seasons. Spanning genres from Cajun and Creole to Indie Pop, Rock, Soul, Country, Folk, and RnB—DTA! is an event for music lovers of all kinds.
