Founded in 1977, Jazz Port Townsend is one of the nation’s oldest and most celebrated jazz workshops. Artistic Director John Clayton and a world-class roster of faculty mentors have created a unique format that will include master class coaching, combo performance, and informal jamming. Plus, you’ll choose from special electives like Big Band, advanced jazz theory, or performance opportunities at The Upstage in downtown Port Townsend – all designed to hone your style, and strengthen your improvisational chops.
