Every Labor Day Weekend the City of Harrisburg hosts the Kipona Festival to celebrate the majestic Susquehanna River that is an iconic attraction for PA’s Capital City. The free outdoor festival runs 3-Days along Riverfront Park and extends onto City Island with unique food, live music on 3 stages, local artists, locally crafted beer, Native American Pow-Wow and other special family-friendly events, culminated by a massive fireworks display to close out the weekend.
