The annual family friendly Nova Scotia Bluegrass and Oldtme Music Festival is Canada's oldest, and North America's second oldest continuously running Bluegrass Festival, and is presented and hosted by the Downeast Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Bluegrass and Oldtime music in Eastern Canada.
