Today, Sierra Ferrell transforms the Tiny Desk into an enchanting Trail of Flowers – and shows "how her blend of warmth, chops and inventiveness is remaking Americana music," writes NPR's Ann Powers. For her debut appearance on the NPR Music series, she and her band perform magnificent renditions of three standouts from the multi-chart-topping album ("I Could Drive You Crazy," "Dollar Bill Bar," "American Dreaming"), as well as the perennial favorite and frequent live show finale, "In Dreams." Surrounded by a blossoming field of floral pastels, and the mystical power of Ferrell’s heavenly vocals, the four-song set is another affirmation of an artist who has "cemented her status as the new queen of roots music," said Variety, when naming Trail of Flowers one of the Best Albums of 2024 (So Far).

Following performances for The Late Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a "star-making turn at Newport Folk Festival" (Rolling Stone), where she brought Gillian Welch and John C. Reilly out onstage, Sierra Ferrell's Tiny Desk arrives ahead of a new collaboration with Post Malone. Out this Friday, August 16th, "Never Love You Again" appears on Post's forthcoming F-1 Trillion LP, and was debuted live at Nashville's Marathon Music Works last month. As Anthony Mason commented during Ferrell's moving profile on CBS Mornings, "all the artists I know want to perform with her," as her growing list of collaborators already includes Zach Bryan, Diplo, Margo Price, Shakey Graves, The Black Keys and many more.
