GREGORIAN—“The World’s Most Successful Choir”—will make their much-anticipated North American as part of their 2023-2024 world tour. Hailed in Europe as “a sacred experience” (Musix Magazine) and “modern and mysterious” (Treff Magazine Saarbrücken), the tour will include performances at theaters and performing arts centers throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America, with the North American leg set to launch April 4 in Asheville, NC. Watch a clip of an overseas performance HERE.

The updated tour dates (postponed from 2023) have been expanded to include shows in New York City, Boston, and Atlanta, with additional West Coast and Canadian dates to be announced in the coming months. These shows follow GREGORIAN’s sold-out and critically acclaimed 2023 overseas concerts that were marked by “…storms of applause and standing ovations for the singing monks” (Bielefelder Kurier) and “goosebump moments” (Bunte Magazine).

“We’re all really excited to finally bring these shows to the U.S.,” says GREGORIAN brainchild and founder and owner of Nemo-Studios and omeN-Publishing Frank Peterson. “For 23 years the audiences across all of Europe and Asia have been incredible and our hope is that the Americans embrace us with the same enthusiasm.”

Here are more pull quotes from overseas reviews of recent GREGORIAN shows:

“Their sound liberates the human longing for relaxation, for well-being and harmony, for rest. They satisfy the longing for eternity.”
Free Presse Chemnitz

“…a pleasant contrast to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”
Berlin Exclusive Magazine

“Great Choir…”
Kronenzeitung Vienna

“Standing Ovations and a perfect attunement to the holiday season…”
Hamburger Morgenpost

“Songs that everyone knows get a different, sometimes more multidimensional meaning in the Gregorian style…”
Ton-Art Magazine

“Breathtaking…Captivating…Gregorian’s version of Simon andamp; Garfunkel’s ‘Sound of Silence,’ a masterpiece in its own right, was almost better than the original, the chanting style serving only to enhance the experience.”
The Daily Star Lebanon

“Sensitive, powerful and archaic at the same time…”
Stadt Ludwigsburg News

“One of the world’s best choirs.”
Prisma Magazine

“Goosebumps guaranteed–a project that goes far beyond the mere presentation of music.”
Kultour Magazine

The group’s PURE CHANTS I album (released last year) features mainly classical choral works and hymns plus some folk and pop favorites. GREGORIAN’s featured vocalist Narcis speaks about the album in this clip with the monks adding their message here
