The Lizzie Rose Music Room is one of those venues that, if you are an artist who's music falls into the Americana, roots, indie-pop, acoustic, alt-country, adult-contemporary, blues, tribute, bluegrass, folk or any other related genre, you may not be aware of, but most certainly should. For those styles of music, it is one of the coolest, most welcoming and interesting venues around.
Situated on the far southern coast of New Jersey, the Lizzie Rose Music Room is an Intimate Non Profit Listening Room Venue where the fans are always up front and personal with the performers. It is housed in a converted 1890s era Victoria House with near-perfect acoustics allowing the audience to immerse itself in the music and the experience. Because the Lizzie Rose Music Room is a fully seated Listening Room, without the distractions of bar noise or loud crowds, this immersion is a complete experience for both artist and audience.

The Lizzie Rose Music Room is entirely staffed by volunteers. The performers enjoy the incredible acoustics and intimacy of the room as well as the enthusiasm and love they receive from our audiences. The venue owners strive to bring a diverse mix of musicians to a town that is barely a spec on the map and believe their hospitality goes a long way in having performers seek return engagements.
As an agent in the music business (my real job besides running this website), I have sent several artists to The Lizzie Rose Music Room, all of which hace come away from the experience with nothing but positive feedback for both the venue and the staff and just as importantly, the connection they were able to make with their fans, and when it really comes down to it, isn't that really what it's all about? Even though the Lizzie Rose Music Room only holds ninety people or so at full capacity, they have no problem hosting artists for multiple shows if the artists have the following that would warrant such an arrangement in the Southern New Jersey area. It's only minutes from Atlantic City as well, meaning you may be tempted to gamble away any days off you may have in the area.
