2020 has been a year filled with challenges and uncertainty for most of us worldwide. From Covid-19 to civil unrest, massive cancellations of events and rising political tensions, this is definitely a year which will go down in the history books forever. That said, the music somehow never stops for Billboard Top-20 singer-songwriter and music producer, Antoine Dunn.

In January, Dunn released a powerful and long anticipated sophomore album entitled "Everything". The project was co-produced by Dunn in New York City alongside Grammy Award Winning producer/ engineer, Scott Jacoby (John Legend, Jason Mraz, Coldplay). The album also received touches by industry vet and well-respected producer/ engineer Gary Noble (Jazmine Sullivan, The Fugees, Amy Winehouse).

At this years Tennessee-based Josie Music Awards, the singer would take home two wins and receive a total of 6 nominations. Dunns wins include, Artist of the Year and Vocalist of the Year in 2020's RandB/ Soul categories. Nominations would include:

-Song of the Year, Antoine Dunn for "All I Want For Tonight" (Writers: Jeremy "J. Meyer" Smith, Rahmel J. McDade, Antoine L. Dunn)

-Best Musical Collaboration, Antoine Dunn andamp; Ashley Chante for "Come Around" (Writer: Antoine L. Dunn)

-Music Producer of the Year, Antoine Dunn

-Artist of the Year, Antoine Dunn for RandB/ Soul (Winner)

-Vocalist of the Year, Antoine Dunn for RandB/ Soul (Winner)

-Musician of the Year, Antoine Dunn for Piano

The Josie Music Awards is a brand of The Josie Network, LLC owned by the highly-respected partnership team of Josie Passantino and Tinamarie Passantino. Since its inaugural celebration in 2015, the Josie Music Awards was, is, and remains the largest independent artist award show globally.

It comes as no surprise that Dunn's very talented label mate, Ashley Chante would find her way into the conversation. Together, the two would be acknowledged for their collaborative work on Dunn's song, "Come Around". Chante was very instrumental on Dunn's sophomore project and has her own plans to release new music sometime in 2021.

On October 7th, Dunn released a second single off of his project, Everything. The track, entitled "October 7th", can be characterized as a dynamic blues ballad which demands the attention of listeners. Dunn's minimalistic approach to the musical orchestration makes way for his vocal to take charge and truly pull at the heart strings of listeners. Check It Out HERE
