Today, David Kushner, the recently-certified platinum indie folk hitmaker, bares his soul in a new song and video: “Dead Man.” Drawing from personal experiences, the metaphor of calloused hands represents his own journey through a tumultuous relationship. The song provides a raw and intimate window into Kushner's struggles and growth.

The new song comes out as Kushner’s hit single “Daylight” reaches one billion total streams across all platforms. It has also achieved RIAA Platinum certification in the US and sat on the Billboard Hot 100 for 22 straight weeks since its release. He recently commemorated the success of the long-teased single with the release of Daylight (Reimagined), which contains five new versions of the song, including a cinematic version and an acoustic version. Listen to it here.

Kushner is currently busy in the heart of his Daylight Tour 2.0, which has seen him build on the success of his first headline tour and give fans in many parts of the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, their first opportunity to see him.
