Emerging singer, songwriter and artist Bruno Major’s track “The Most Beautiful Thing,” which was co-written with Finneas O’Connell (Billie Eilish, FINNEAS), is featured in Amazon’s Alexa commercial starring Michael B. Jordan. The ad debuted online yesterday and will have its broadcast premiere on Sunday, February 7 during the big game. Fans can listen to/share the song HERE and watch/share the commercial HERE.

The track appears on Major’s latest full-length album, To Let A Good Thing Die, is out now via AWAL. The album continues to receive critical acclaim: Billboard proclaims Major is, “more confident in his craft than ever,” while FLAUNT declares, “The brilliance that is Bruno Major…blends inspirations that reach far and wide to make a unique sound that brings us all back home.” Cool Hunting furthers, “To Let A Good Thing Die offers a hint not only of what listeners will find there but also of the spirit and character of the recording artist himself.”

Major spent the first three months of 2019 in Los Angeles, CA working on material for To Let A Good Thing Die. During his time in LA, Major connected with songwriter/producer O’Connell after his sister, Billie Eilish, shared Major’s track, “Places We Won’t Walk,” off his debut album A Song For Every Moon. The two connected over their mutual love of lyrics and collaborated on numerous tracks on To Let A Good Thing Die, most notably “The Most Beautiful Thing.”

Speaking of the experience, Major explains, “I wrote ‘The Most Beautiful Thing’ with FINNEAS in his living room in LA. We sat and talked for a few hours about everything and nothing - writing the song took considerably less time than our conversation. The song’s big idea is one that has always fascinated me. The concept of a ‘soul mate’ has always seemed far-fetched, when that person could easily be born on the other side of the world or in a different time, and the chances of meeting them so slim. Is true love really circumstance and compatibility? ‘The Most Beautiful Thing’ is a love letter to the soul mate I’ve never met.”

On To Let A Good Thing Die, Major crafted a tapestry of stories interwoven with narratives of human relationships, love, heartbreak and existential musings. His songs speak to a collective experience yet resonate with listeners as if they were meant for them alone. As Major puts it, the songs are “classic tales for a modern age.”

Major’s music has garnered over 600 million collective streams to date, while “The Most Beautiful Thing” has been streamed over 20 million times. In addition, his hit single “Easily” achieved Gold status in the U.S. and Platinum in Canada. Major found fans of the album in the likes of Sam Smith, Hailey Bieber, Lianne La Havas, Kourtney Kardashian, Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth.
