HOW WE LEAD
The Commercial Partnerships Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Capitol CMG Commercial Partnerships andamp; Streaming Team. Key support roles include collection, distribution, and communication of all product information, artist/project asset management, pitching/solicitation materials to DSPs, and streaming reports.
The ideal candidate will help grow music consumption by assisting the Commercial Partnerships team as they develop relationships and strategies that equip Capitol CMG to continue to be the market leader in the Christian and Gospel genre. This candidate should be a dedicated team player, detail-oriented, and champion for innovation and relentless execution, developing resources that exceed the expectations of our partners (Label/Artist, CCMG staff, and Partners) in keeping with Capitol CMG’s Mission and Vision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Be a passionate advocate for our artist’s music with streaming partners.
- Maintain release schedule and marketing grids for the Commercial Partnerships team.
- Assist administratively with various account needs, i.e. product description updates, research and data collection for Hit Listing, new release affiliate links, update marketing detail (bio, images) to artist profiles and product pages across all DSPs, and other requests.
- Submit DSP playlist pitches.
- Be the point person for securing all New Release assets/resources for the Commercial Partnerships team.
- Compile and distribute street week positioning reports.
- Collate pitch decks for Commercial Partnerships team.
- Utilize streaming and marketing data to support placement and partner opportunities
- Run various streaming reports and gather data to assist the Commercial Partnerships team.
- Complete assigned invoices across the department
- Submit expense reports for the Commercial Partnerships team as assigned.
- Coordinate and book team travel (as needed).
- Plan, coordinate, and book commercial meetings and events as needed.
- Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning activities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic understanding of digital service providers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon, YouTube, and others.
- Extremely organized with superior time management skills.
- Highly relational with the ability to work under high pressure and speed
- Passion for Christian music and developing artists.
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills with emphasis on relationship building with labels and partner.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, produce high-quality results under tight deadlines in a team environment, and prioritize effectively.
- Project management skills to facilitate meeting deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Basic understanding of streaming, sales, andamp; marketing fundamentals within the music industry.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite preferred.
- Proactive and problem solution oriented.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and desire to optimize processes and efficiencies.
- Ability to be proactive by identifying potential issues and taking action to rectify.
- Basic experience with analytics, search engine, and social media marketing.
- Experience andamp; Education
- College degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in streaming or marketing.
