Self-composed, written and arranged,  Davy Williamson's musicianship is put up on display in the emotive, yet angst-fueled rock track, “Thin Disguise.” The groove pulses forward, with a push-and-pull feel drenched in the tension of Davy’s morose yet bittersweet lyrics.

The track sees Shawn Adkins (Back A Round Records) and Steve Hardy on recording and mix duties, alongside Andy Vandette doing the mastering. The track serves as the debut single from his full-length EP, which is scheduled for release next month.

Angst fueled themes around broken homes, struggles with relationships, loss of friends and betrayal, American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Davy Williamson sets out to battle his own demons, while helping others along the way. The North Carolina-based musician cut his teeth in the indie rock band, Third Class Passenger, and Punk Rock group, Ma-Shot-Pa, and is now setting off to launch his solo career as a Hard Rock artist.

He left the group later that year. In 1998, he co-founded a Modern rock band, Third Class Passenger, in North Carolina. In 2003, the band recorded their debut unsigned album, Dislabelled, with recording and mixing engineer Steve Hardy.

In 2004, he left Third Class Passenger and joined a Punk rock band, Ma-shot-pa but left in 2006.

He has since performed as a solo act under the stage name, Davy Williamson. Most recently, he has been living and performing in the Virgin Islands, playing mostly as a solo act. He also plays as a duo act with artists like John Hodges (Smoking Okra) and Andy Easton (The Tin Roof) in Atlanta, Georgia. This has spanned a five-year period.

Recently Davy has been seen sharing the stage with the likes of better known artists such as Toryn Green of (Fuel), and Paul Phillips of (Puddle of Mudd).

Davy Williamson has recently released his debut single, "Thin Disguise." Further release details of his full-length debut EP to come soon.
