Don Louis, one of country's “rising young star[s]” (GMA3), brings listeners under an intoxicating love spell with his signature deep, gravelly baritone on the latest from his Liquor Talkin’ Deluxe album (4.18 via EMPIRE). Louis’ track “Look What You Made Me Do” is available today (3.14). Listen here: music.empi.re/lookwhatyoumademedo.OOW
“I was looking to make a pickup song that wasn't so vulgar and still had some swag,” says Louis. “I wanted to make men feel good, and women feel loved.”
On “Look What You Made Me Do,” Louis trades his bad habits for a love that overpowers temptation. The track features his ludicrously catchy blend of country and RandB, while channeling the dynamic vocal effects of artists like The Weeknd, all with a simmering, sultry delivery.
