Sales Executive, Cutting Edge Music Tech – On-Demand Vinyl Records
We are seeking a Sales Executive to help us revolutionise the physical and digital music industry. The company has invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their product worldwide via our store.
We are working with the leading record labels, streaming services, digital service providers, distributors, and iconic global artists who are keen to partner with us to build a global solution for physical media. It is our mission that any music creator, big and small, will have frictionless access to offer vinyl and CD to their fans via our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, USA and Asia.
The vinyl market has been growing on average more than 20% year on year over the last 16 years, more than doubling since 2020. In Japan it grew 40% last year and even CDs are growing for the first time in two decades. Over 30 million creators are releasing their music online today while they are growing 30% a year and represent the fastest growing segment in music. Most of them would like to have their music on vinyl or CD for their friends andamp; family and especially their fans. elasticStage will provide them easy and affordable access via its unique and scalable on-demand tech.
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic growth team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and effectively promoting our products/services to potential customers. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to close deals.

Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential partners, including artists, management companies, and record labels, to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct high-level sales calls and meetings with senior executives to present our company’s value proposition and negotiate partnerships.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company sales goals.
- Utilise customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, sales activities, and partnership progress.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and tradeshows to build relationships and expand our presence.
- Provide detailed and regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and partnership outcomes to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, ideally within the music industry or a related field.
- Strong track record of successfully managing relationships with mid-senior level executives.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and influence senior stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations and situations.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing change.
