JOB SUMMARY
As an integral member of the Digital department, the marketing analyst will support the team by providing the reports, insights, and metrics for a roster of artists across the Firebird platform to inform opportunities for audience growth and fanbase monetization.
This individual will work collaboratively with the Firebird Data andamp; Analytics team to develop tools, dashboards, and data resources necessary for tracking analytics on a daily and weekly basis.
The marketing analyst will also develop bespoke and custom presentations on behalf of artists providing thorough audience insights looking across social media, streaming (DSP) and commercial platforms (e-commerce), and CRM (email/SMS), as well as using social media monitoring tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weekly reports tracking audience and revenue growth and measurement for roster of artists
- Create custom decks on behalf of artists and teams providing key insights, observations, and opportunities to drive business decisions
- Use social analytic tools (monitoring platforms/sentiment analysis) to surface trends relating to conversation/high visibility moments
- Analyze content to determine strategy on reaching more fans and finding new audiences
- Develop systems for tracking conversion metrics at CRM, E-commerce, and Fan Clubs
- Attribution analysis on marketing efforts (KPIs/ROI) related to ticket, merch, music sales, and data capture
- Liaising with Data andamp; Analytics team to provide feedback on building tools and dashboards
- Providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders, based on operational learnings
- Developing campaign recaps with the to goal of delivering actionable next steps to team and partners
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years previous experience as a marketing analyst (record label, promoter, tech, agency)
- Knowledge of artist analytic platforms like Spotify for Artist, Apple Music for Artist, Amazon for Artists, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok analytics, etc.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Shopify/Magento) and CRM (MailChimp, Klaviyo, Laylo) too
- Competency using social media monitoring and marketing intelligence tools (Meltwater/Sprout/Brandwatch/Tubular/E-Poll/Fivetran)
- Previous use of Google Analytics, Omniture, and SQL
- Proven ability to provide insights leading to action – recommendations that drive business objectives and generate audience and revenue growth
- Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
- Power user of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel; Slides/Powerpoint
- Uncompromising organization and attention to detail
