Fleming Artists, an Ann Arbor, Michigan based agency that represents a strong roster of Singer/Songwriters, Americana, Folk, Roots and Adult Contemporary artists has announced the immediate acquisition of Minneapolis based Green Room Music Source and all of its agents. Jim Fleming and Lara Supan announce the addition of three agents to the Fleming Artists team: Craig Grossman, David Priebe, and Sara Vale. Craig and David have extensive experience in the music trade (see bios below) having successfully run The Green Room Music Source for the past 15 years, and now join with Lara and Jim to help grow the Fleming roster. Sara is also a veteran in the music industry and partnered with Green Room prior to joining Fleming Artists.

Jim Fleming states, “I couldn’t be happier having Craig, David, and Sara join our team. We have been exploring this possibility for some time now and, each time we talked, I felt even stronger that they were a perfect match with us.”

“At a time when so much is up in the air regarding live music, I am thankful to be growing our team and continuing the agency’s 40+ year tradition of representing artists whose music offers a salve during times of trouble and uncertainty. We are very excited to add Craig, David, and Sara to the Fleming family!" says Laura Supan, also of Fleming Artists

Fleming Artists, which has been representing artists for over 40 years, appreciates the knowledge that David, Craig, and Sara bring to the table, as well as their regard for ethical business practices in their representation of artists and in their interactions with venues and promoters. Founded in 1979 by Jim Fleming the agency is no stranger to the world of zealous touring. Fleming Artists looks after domestic and international performers with the countries of Canada, Australia, Ireland, and England represented, as well as numerous American troubadours. Performances booked by Fleming Artists include venues that encompass intimate listening rooms to outdoor amphitheaters; Arts Presenters to grassroots folk entrepreneurs.

David and Craig will continue to operate from their collective hometown of Minneapolis, and Sara will operate from her home in Northern California. They joined Fleming Artists effective November 16, 2020.

“I am very excited to join the Fleming team and to have the opportunity to continue to grow the careers of the artists I represent, including Jonatha Brooke, Antje Duvekot, Gurf Morlix, and more.” says Craig Grossman of Green Room Music Source of the move.

Over the years Fleming Artists has gone through many changes, but their philosophies have remained constant: represent artists who have something to say through their art; artists who aspire to achieve the highest level of artistry. They maintain that equally important to them as their artists, are their promoters. They believe that consistently providing timely and quality service benefits the artists and the promoters, as well as themselves. A few of the artists currently represented by Fleming Artists include Jeff Daniels, Carsie Blanton, The Accidentals, Dougie McLean, Holly Near, Judy Collins and more.
