21st century rock vanguards FROM ASHES TO NEW kick off the holiday season with a new music video for their spirited rock cover of Mariah Carey’s iconic holiday staple “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” It’s out today, November 20, via Better Noise Music’s YouTube channel. The energetic cover, originally released last December, was lauded by ABC Audio for its “big guitars and screaming vocals” and was a quick hit with fans garnering viral attention on TikTok with nearly 1 million views and 100k likes. Watch it streaming below or HERE.

“We always thought it would be sick to do a Christmas song and what better than Mariah Carey’s iconic ‘All I Want For a Christmas Is You,’ says FROM ASHES TO NEW vocalist Matt Brandyberry. “We wanted to see what the world would think of a minor feel to a major song but weren’t expecting to hear that Mariah herself loved the track!”

FROM ASHES TO NEW will hit the road tomorrow, November 21, on their headlining tour “The Blackout Tour Pt. 1” in Portland, ME at State Theatre, with support from The Word Alive, Catch Your Breath, and Ekoh. See the full dates here or listed below. For this 20-date trek, the band will perform songs from their critically acclaimed breakthrough concept album BLACKOUT released this past July via Better Noise Music. The album debuted with seven #1 iTunes Metal albums chartings and four #1 iTunes Rock albums placements including four dual #1’s globally. It also garnered the band two Top 10-charting rock radio singles: “Hate Me Too,” which peaked at #8 on Mediabase charts, and their latest anthemic single “Nightmare,” currently at #6.  Stream and/or download BLACKOUT or grab a physical copy on CD, vinyl or cassette at https://fatn.ffm.to/blackoutalbum.

“‘Blackout’ is the perfect music for any occasion. It knows how to invoke a myriad of feelings and sensations and is heavy without overpowering. The vocals enmesh rap with guttural screams and still know how to retain a deep, intrinsic melody.”
– MXDWN (August 2023)

“‘Blackout’ unquestionably deserves its perfect 10/10 rating. Its brilliance isn’t solely due to its intelligent and engaging lyrics that practically compel you to sing along; it’s an album that demands multiple listens. From Ashes to New has struck a musical goldmine with this release.”
– Top Shelf Music Magazine (August 2023)
