Job Summary
The “Creative Director” of HYBE is responsible for employing their innovative and creative vision to spearhead the process of planning and implementing album concepts and brands of the artists under HYBE MUSIC GROUP APAC.
The Creative Director is also responsible for collaborating closely with both in-house and external creators to develop ideas and achieve the best results, utilizing the ability to identify new opportunities while expanding the business into various areas.
Key Responsibilities
Artist Album Concept Strategy and Execution:
- Collaborate with the artist and lead the development of the album’s overall theme, vision, and creative direction ensuring a cohesive narrative.
- Manage the production, track selection, and sequencing to ensure alignment with the album’s concept including music videos and promotional content.
Creative Asset Oversight:
- Supervise the creation of all visual materials, including album covers, music videos, promotional films, art films, and marketing assets.
- Provide visual direction for artists’ public appearances, including talk shows, award ceremonies, concerts, and PR engagements.
Branding andamp; Visual Concepts:
- Define and guide the visual branding for artists, both as groups and individuals, ensuring a cohesive and distinctive identity.
- Collaborate with stylists, designers, and external partners to develop and execute artist concepts across various platforms.
Sponsorship andamp; Partnerships:
- Identify and establish partnerships with brands that align with the artist’s image and visual direction, securing relevant sponsorships.

- Intensive working period is expected depending on the project schedules and when issues arise
- Moving in and residing in South Korea during the intensive working period is required
[Requirements]
- Fluency in both Korean and English is required
- 10+ years creative work experience in music industry, entertainment, fashion, or other related industries
- Holds a senior leadership position in creative agencies to plan fashion styles and design outfits in magazines, editorials, etc.
- Experienced in analyzing trends and must have a good understanding of the latest style, fashion, culture, and trends.
- Experienced in planning music album concepts and visuals
- Ability to provide creative direction and conduct branding in an innovative and unique way.
- Can travel overseas for a long period of time without any restrictions
Preferred Qualifications
- Former creative director in fashion magazines, fashion brands, or advertising or design agency
- Good understanding of cultural trends, such as fashion, domestic and international music scenes, pop culture, etc.
Competency Requirements
- High standard for quality of the output and its details
- Analytical and design-related abilities to identify the characteristics of artists and projects
- Sharp observation skills and sensitivity to global trends, as well as the ability to think outside the box and come up with creative ideas
- Effective communication skills to engage with various in-house departments and creators outside the company
