Today, acclaimed singer, rapper, producer, and leader in the Punjabi music scene AP Dhillon excitedly presents his brand new EP, The Brownprint, out now via Republic Records in alliance with Universal Music Canada. It represents both a natural evolution for the international phenomenon and an introduction to his next era. Listen HERE.
The nine-track release includes his slick and sun-kissed new single “Bora Bora” featuring Ayra Starr. Breezy production sets the tone for the song, emanating beach-ready energy and evoking island vibes. Simultaneously, it revolves around his interplay with history-making Nigerian-born Afrobeats superstar Ayra Starr. Ultimately, “Bora Bora” has all the makings of a global anthem.
Elsewhere, lithe acoustic guitar underlines “Losing Myself” featuring hip-hop mega-star Gunna. AP Dhillon’s dynamic vocals give away to an irresistible cameo from the Atlanta rap titan.
On the EP, AP Dhillon eclipses genre lines and borders. He flexes impressive versatility, holding his own alongside everyone from Shinda Kahlon on the title track “Brownprint” to Syra on “Sweet Flower.”
