Today, James Barker Band releases their next single, “Caught Me At A Good Time,” offering a refreshing contrast to their wildly successful comeback track, “You Didn’t Hear It From Me.” While small-town breakups leave little room for escape, they also bring a shift in perspective. This anthemic track captures the carefree, collegial attitude that emerges once the dust has settled. The new single is available now via Universal Music Canada.
Lead singer, James Barker added “Caught Me At A Good Time is proof that not all breakup songs need to be sad. Anyone who's ever been dumped secretly wishes that one day their ex will come crawling back, asking for forgiveness, and getting a taste of their own medicine. Too little, too late, that's what this song is all about.”
Their previous hit “You Didn’t Hear It From Me,” has amassed over 4 million global streams. The band continue to gain momentum, racking up 21 million views across social platforms in the past two months alone. “You Didn’t Hear It From Me” is currently #17 at Canadian Country Radio.
James Barker Band headlined Nashville’s iconic live music series Whiskey Jam as it landed at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto last week. In a first for Canada, Whiskey Jam founder Ward Guenther hosted an epic line-up of country music’s rising stars on track for a breakout year including; Brandon Wisham, Christian Hayes, Dalton Davis, James Barker Band, Kalsey Kulyk, Kashus Culpepper, and Ryan Hurd.
2025 is set to be a big year for the James Barker Band, with the release of several singles and a full-length album later this year. Fans can also look forward to more exciting announcements, including live performances across the country.
