Jeremie Albino “proves himself a talent to be reckoned with” (No Depression) on new album Our Time In The Sun - out today via Easy Eye Sound. An electrifying performer who’s shared stages with everyone from Orville Peck to Sierra Ferrell - Our Time In The Sun deftly captures Albino’s livewire energy in the studio, alongside esteemed collaborators like The Dap-Kings’ Tommy Brenneck, Pat McLaughlin (John Prine, Johnny Cash, Charley Crockett), Tom Bukovac (5x MusicRow Guitarist of the Year), Little Barrie’s Barrie Cadogan, The Heliocentrics’ Malcolm Catto and Bobby Wood (Wilson Pickett, Dusty Springfield, Marcus King). Working closely with GRAMMY-winning producer Dan Auerbach, who was mesmerized by a chance encounter with Albino’s music online, the two spent time together digging through Auerbach’s collection of 45s in Nashville - and quickly discovered a mutual love of artists like Irma Thomas, The Charmels and George Jackson. The resulting Our Time In The Sun sessions have been described by Auerbach as “a dream…he’s so talented, comfortable with who he is - he’s able to put everyone in the room at ease and bring people together with his music.”

Our Time In The Sun is the culmination of a remarkable journey for Albino, one that began on a farm in rural Ontario. After years slinging veggies at a farmers markets in Toronto, Albino began performing on the city’s streets and beyond, busking throughout Europe and trading songs for lodging. The back-and-forth between him and the many fleeting crowds sparked a love of performing, one that he channeled into live shows that grew steadily from passerby to packed rooms. Those performances have reached even higher heights of late, like at September's Easy Eye Fish Fry in Nashville, where Albino was joined on stage by a backing band of The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, Nathaniel Rateliff and Black Pumas’ Adrian Quesada. He’ll bring his live show on the road throughout 2025, including iconic rooms like Los Angeles’ Troubadour (February 20) and the 1,500 capacity Danforth Music Hall in his hometown of Toronto (April 4).
