Today, Ottawa-via-LA rock/pop artist and songwriter Jutes releases his newest single, "It's Me Again," alongside an acoustic version of “Sleepyhead,” marking the completion of his ‘Sleepyhead’ EP. "It's Me Again" delves into Jutes' personal journey, exploring his past battle with addiction. Now sober, he channels his experiences into powerful storytelling to connect with listeners who may relate to his journey and find healing through his music.
Produced by Keith Sorrells (Demi Lovato, Alessia Cara) and Alex Niceforo (John Legend, Rita Ora) of The Orphanage, "It's Me Again" blends intense rock melodies with heartfelt emotions and powerful vocals. This single isn't just about music—it's about honesty and the power of sharing one's story.

“‘It’s Me Again’ was an important song to close out the EP with as it touches on my past struggles with addiction,” explains Jutes. “In my darker days, my friend and I used to call the devil on our shoulder ‘Mr Frost.’ He would show up when we were trying to get clean. I wrote this thinking about him showing up every time I was feeling weak and thinking about falling off the wagon again.”
“It’s Me Again” andamp; “Sleepyhead (Acoustic)” arrive off the heels of “Theraflu” and “Sleepyhead” rounding out the EP. “Sleepyhead,” his fastest growing song to date, streamed over 100,000 streams per day within just a few weeks of release. The track has accumulated over 4 million streams to date. Set to impact radio later this July, “Sleepyhead” has been featured on Spotify’s top editorial playlists including “The New Alt” and “New Noise” solidifying Jutes as one of music’s most exciting artists of 2024.
