Celebrated DJ, producer, pianist and activist LP Giobbi has returned with new single “Feel,” featuring vocals from British singer songwriter Jacob Banks. “Feel” starts with LP Giobbi’s trademark piano, a dancing melody over a moody, hard-charging beat, with Banks singing a refrain of: “Oh I need this feel forever / I get high on you.” “Feel” is the latest release in a prolific period of collaborations and new music - including recent remixes of Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” and Calvin Harris’ “Lovers In A Past Life.” Stay tuned for more news and music.

Says LP Giobbi, about “Feel”: Getting to collaborate with artists outside of the dance space is always amazing, but to be able to work with Jacob Banks was a dream come true. His voice transcends genres and it allowed me to really get creative when building the track around his vocals. A new chapter starts now, I hope you enjoy!

In addition to today’s song release, LP Giobbi will be busy on the road with a number of festival appearances and Dead House events across the U.S., U.K. and Europe. She also just concluded the second edition of her All In An Airstream tour, in which she drives across the U.S. in an airstream for pop-up performances and collaborations with local artists in unique locations. This year's tour took them through the Pacific Northwest and beyond, including a Yes Yes Yes writing camp at W Seattle and pop-ups in Coeur d'Alene, ID; Whitefish, MT; Jackson, WY; Denver, CO; Moab, UT and Zion, UT. LP Giobbi made a splash on the music scene recently, and released her debut album Light Places in spring of 2023 on Ninja Tune’s imprint Counter Records. Her music is beloved in part because she brings an organic freedom found in improvised music (from long-standing inspirations Bill Evans and The Grateful Dead) and spontaneous collaboration to the often intricate structures of dance music, making for songs that simply feel good. As a DJ and producer she incorporates her jazz and classical background to add live piano, modular electronics and improvisation to her sets, on a quest to become what she calls “a one-woman jam band.”

In addition to the aforementioned Swift and Harris projects, she’s collaborated with Portugal. The Man, Diplo, TSHA, Kx5, MK, Dom Dolla, Tycho and Carlita among others. Along with being Global Music Director for W Hotels and selected as a Spotify EQUAL Ambassador, her music has amassed over 340M streams across platforms. She has over 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and has been tipped as DJ Mag’s Producer of the Year, Spotify RADAR’s Artist to Watch, Amazon’s Artists to Watch, TIDAL’s Artist to Watch 2023 and NPR/Public Radio’s Favorite New Musicians of 2023. Top festival appearances include Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Tomorrowland and Electric Forest, and she has supported iconic artists like Pete Tong, Black Coffee, Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Dead andamp; Co, and frequent collaborator Sofi Tukker.

LP Giobbi also founded the nonprofit FEMME HOUSE, which is dedicated to educating budding beatmakers and counteracting gender disparities in dance music, where women make up only two percent of producers. Since launching in 2019, FEMME HOUSE has provided thousands of female and gender expansive individuals access to production workshops, online courses, and scholarship programs for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC creators covering everything from songwriting to sound design. It has blossomed into a multidimensional effort including bootcamps, live streams, a FEMME HOUSE Radio show on SiriusXM’s Diplo’s Revolution and festival stage takeovers. In 2021 and ‘22, FEMME HOUSE joined forces with Alicia Keys’ She Is the Music and Emily Lazar’s We Are Moving the Needle for a sold-out, month-long production bootcamp, where over 3,000 participants from over 1,400 cities in 77 countries learned how to produce music together.
