JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an engaging and motivated Junior Client Manager to join our growing team. At mprs, managing our clients’ royalty data is a core component of our service. We pride ourselves on providing clients with royalty data that is clean, accurate, and up to date.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for (a) supporting our data engineering team with the analysis of royalty data, and (b) cultivating and maintaining relationships with our valued clients by onboarding them into the mprs platform, managing their growing catalogs, and promptly addressing any administrative needs as their ongoing mprs contact lead.
This a great opportunity to work across a roster of production-focused clients and expand your knowledge of royalties within this nuanced area of the music industry.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Aggregating, cleaning, and analyzing large sets of royalty data from various recorded music sources
- Reviewing producer / mixer agreements and corresponding royalty data to ensure accuracy and consistency, identifying any irregularities
- Preparing semiannual royalty reports of income for clients
- Acting as primary point of contact for growing roster of clients
- Becoming an expert on producer / mixer master royalties and mprs client catalogs
- Collaborating with finance team to submit invoices on behalf of clients
- Swiftly identifying and escalating client issues to leadership team for resolution

COMPETENCIES WE REQUIRE
- Familiarity with Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
- Analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data
- Experience speaking with and presenting to external stakeholders
