Making a bold return, multi-platinum sensation Lil Tecca serves up his brand new single and music video “TASTE” out now via Galactic Records/Republic Records.

Most importantly, it heralds the arrival of his anxiously awaited fourth full-length album, PLAN A, which follows 2023’s TEC, which marked his fourth consecutive Top 15 debut on the Billboard 200 and has garnered over 1.7 billion streams worldwide.

Fans have clamored for new music from Tecca, and he’s feeding them with “TASTE” today. The track’s woozy beat revolves around finger-snaps and an intoxicating flute loop. Tecca rolls through with a charismatic flow perfectly suited to deliver the confident and catchy lyrics. As the production simmers, he asks, “What you mad about? I can make sure you straight.” With that promise, his delivery transfixes.

Directed by Jordiedotcom, the visual continues what has become a tradition of captivating music videos for Tecca. It showcases him rapping in the middle of a lush green meadow intercut with a romantic narrative unfolding through a series of intimate vignettes. From the forest to the beach, it moves with the ebb and flow of the track. The visual continues what has become a tradition of scorching music videos for Tecca as it translates the vibe to the screen.

About “TASTE, he shared, “I heard the beat, and it sounded different from what I usually rap on. It felt big. I freestyled it line-by-line. By the time I finished, It was a no-brainer for the album. Taste drives a lot of my decision-making. It’s my sense of attraction to music, clothes, and movies. The song really sums it all up. ‘TASTE’ is everything, and I used love to filter that message. It’s the evolution of what you might think is ‘fire’. It’s just your taste at the end of the day.

Earlier this year, he unleashed the powerhouse two-pack “Number 2 / Never Last. He amassed impressive numbers as “Number 2” generated over 52 million streams followed by 24 million streams on “Never Last.

The bundle catalyzed his momentum from this year’s fan favorite “Down With Me.” Since its arrival in January, it has already popped off over 147 million streams. Earning widespread acclaim, HYPEBEAST raved, ‘Down With Me’ finds Tecca in his zone where he performs best, smoothly sliding over a pristinely produced beat.” HotNewHipHop hailed, “Lil Tecca is on a roll,” while HipHopDX predicted, “the young superstar is poised to take 2024 by storm.”

Still, Tecca has more surprises up his sleeve.

He teased PLAN A with teasers across multiple social media accounts. More info coming soon.

He also wrapped his headlining “HVN ON EARTH” Tour. Performing in 19 cities across the continent, Tecca wowed audiences on a nightly basis joined by openers such as tanaSoFaygo, and Chow Lee.

As always, Tecca has returned bigger and better than ever, keeping fans and critics alike tuned in to see what’s coming next.
