Dressed in formal wear, some of Nashville’s fastest growing stars, including the likes of Louis York, Ty Herndon, Sarah Potenza, Maggie Rose, Liz Longley, Emily West, Jason Eskridge, Bre Kennedy, Crystal Lewis, The Young Fables, The Shindellas, Meghan Linsey, and more will take the stage to perform holiday tunes and set the mood for a giving Christmas season. The virtual event mirrors a highly produced awards ceremony with multiple camera angles, visual effects, and holiday stage decorations that include a red curtain, marquee lights, decorated trees, and chandeliers.
“It’s a full circle moment to be part of a show that gives back to MusiCares, as they gave to me at the start of the pandemic! Plus, anytime I have an opportunity to safely make music, and get a little dressed up, it’s a good day in 2020.” says Liz Longley, an Americana Radio Top 20 artist.
“With music industry revenues impacted by the pandemic, MusiCares has been a lifesaver to many artists in Music City and around the country. This event is our small way of showing our gratitude,” said producer Patryk Larney of Hope Tree Entertainment. Since March of 2020, The Recording Academy’s MusiCares has helped to deliver 19 million dollars to impacted music industry artists and professionals with their Covid 19 Relief Fund. The free online concert will offer a chance for many fans to interact with their favorite rising stars in the live-chat section of the premiere.
