Role Responsibilities
MandA Execution and Support:
- Perform due diligence for acquisition targets, including artist catalogs and labels.
- Develop and refine financial models to support transaction valuations.
- Participate in legal document review and negotiations.
- Coordinate with external advisors and counterparties, such as artist managers, legal counsel and consultants.
Financial Planning and Reporting:
- Prepare, and develop enhancements for, annual budgets and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor, develop, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Corporate Strategy and Board Reporting:
- Support strategic planning efforts aligned with company objectives.
- Prepare presentations and materials for board meetings, including financial analyses and strategic updates.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform strategic recommendations.
Role Requirements
- 2–5 years + experience in MandA across investment banking, private equity, private credit, corporate development, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the music industry is a plus, but not required.
-Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis of financial statements.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience, or an interest in developing experience, with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Python.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

The pay range for this role is:
- 120,000 – 140,000 CAD per year (Canada)
- 100,000 – 120,000 USD per year (United States)
