Owen shares, “Everyone has their own way of processing loss and grief. For me writing songs has always been an outlet that helps navigate hard times. This song is about a call you never want to get, but a call you will never forget. I can still remember where I was, what kind of day it was, who I was with, the songs that played through the radio on my 2 hour drive home, the expression on my parents face when I walked in the door, I can still hear the sound of crying and a sense of togetherness that you can really only feel when trying to process the unimaginable…” With this song, Owen simultaneously kicks off his Movember campaign with his team ‘Good Friends’, for more info and to join, see here.
