As the Marketing Manager, your estimated base salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 annually and will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, years of relevant experience, business needs, and overall qualifications for the position as assessed by Primary Wave. The salary range is subject to change at any time and depends on internal and external factors.

TO THRIVE AS A MARKETING MANAGER, YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 3+ years’ experience in the music industry
- Exceptional detail orientation, organizational, time management, and analytical skills are critical
- Network of meaningful relationships in the brand and agency community.
- Creative vision and fearless appetite for marketing innovation.
- Familiarity with the nuances of music IP management.
- Experience speaking directly to artists, songwriters, and artist managers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS THE MARKETING MANAGER
You’ll be tasked with quarterbacking all marketing strategy and execution for an assigned roster of artists/catalogs. You will act as the primary liaison between Primary Wave and the corresponding catalog partners (artist, writer, manager, and estate).
As the Marketing Manager, you’ll also create innovative and profitable marketing opportunities.
- Develop marketing strategies and execute plans
- Brand collaborations and partnerships
- Development of original music-centric media content
- Catalogue AandR exploitation (securing impactful covers, interpolations, sample uses, etc.)
You’ll gather, organize, and share catalog assets and information internally, ensuring our Digital Marketing, Music Synchronization, and Brand teams are current. Additionally, you’ll assist in creating marketing tools such as pitch decks, one-sheets, and visual sizzle reels.
