Today, YG Entertainment’s rising K-Pop group, BABYMONSTER, shared the music video for “LIKE THAT” from their debut EP [BABYMONS7ER], which was released on April 1. The upbeat track about a mutual connection was written for the band by global superstar Charlie Puth. You can watch the “LIKE THAT” music video HERE.

BABYMONSTER, the first girl group to launch under the K-pop label since BLACKPINK, are gearing up to release a new single in early July, followed by their debut album in October. They were recently featured in Teen Vogue and have been recognized across the globe as one to watch - they were named Billboard’s K-Pop's Star to Watch, one of NYLON’s Bands to Watch in 2024 and, most recently, one of Teen Vogue’s Girl Groups to Watch.

Their single “SHEESH” reached No. 16 on the Billboard Global Chart and No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart - it has remained on the chart for eight weeks. Billboardcalled the song “pop-rap magic” and named it one of the best pop songs of the week upon release. The music video debuted at No. 1 on YouTube’s global music video ranking and already has over 230M views. The music video surpassed 100M views on YouTube in just 10-days, setting a new record for the fastest debut song by a K-pop girl group to reach this milestone. The previous record was set by BABYMONSTER’s debut single, “BATTER UP,” which reached 100M views in 18 days. “BATTER UP” garnered 22.5M views in 24-hours and has since broken two YouTube streaming records - it reached 100M views in just 18 days and 200M views in 53 days. You can watch the “SHEESH” music video HERE and the “BATTER UP” music video HERE. The record-breaking tracks are featured on their debut EP, which sold over 400,000 copies upon release, breaking the record for highest first-week album sales for a K-pop girl group.

BABYMONSTER are set to perform at Japan’s largest music festival, Summer Sonic 2024, in Tokyo this summer alongside some of the biggest names on the global music scene, including Jon Batiste, MÅNESKIN, Lil Yacthy, Laufey, Tyl, and Greta Van Fleet. They’ve also made a splash in the fashion world and were recently named global ambassadors for Adidas. You can watch the announcement video HERE.
