The second annual Montreux Jazz Festival Miami has been announced, taking place Friday February 28 to Sunday March 2, 2025 in Miami, FL. The headline performers include five-time GRAMMY Award-winning and Academy Award-winning singer, songwriter and composer Jon Batiste andamp; Friends, innovative singer, songwriter, rapper and actress Janelle Monáe and an Afro-Cuban “La Descarga” (improvised jam session) hosted by Batiste and breakout Cuban star and 2024 Latin GRAMMY Record of the Year nominee Cimafunk, with Alfredo Rodriguez, Cimafunk andamp; La Tribu, Pedrito Martinez, Robe L Ninho, Wampi, Yissy Garcia and more to be announced. Monsieur Periné, the Bogota-based ensemble and fellow 2024 Latin GRAMMY Record of the Year nominees (they are featured on Cimafunk’s nominated song “Catalina”), will also perform.
This one-of-a-kind weekend of world-class performances will return to The Hangar at Regatta Cove, an intimate 1500-capacity venue in the Coconut Grove neighborhood, bringing a distinctly Miami version of one of the world’s most beloved jazz festivals to the shores of The Magic City.
The festival also includes the return of the Legendary Montreux Jam Session each night of the festival, curated by Batiste and featuring his band Stay Human, as well as a series of masterclasses available to VIP ticket holders. Wynwood-based audiophile vinyl listening bar Dante’s HiFi will return with a pop-up installation. A selection of Miami’s best restaurants will be on-site, including two Michelin-starred Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa's latest culinary endeavor Sereia and new hot spot Celia's, known for their smash burgers, offering an array of beloved bites, dishes and drinks.

Jon Batiste played a key role in bringing the Montreux Jazz Festival to Miami. He is also a co-owner of the festival and curated this year’s lineup. Batiste headlined last year’s inaugural edition and hosted the late night Jam Session that made international news. Says Batiste, “Bringing the soul of Montreux to the heart of Miami is an honor. As is tradition with Montreux Jazz Festival - a Montreux Jazz Festival Miami poster for 2025 has been revealed today, created by Swiss artist Rylsee who also produced the poster for Montreux Jazz Switzerland this year. Award winning celebrity photographer Anoush Abrar will also be returning from Switzerland to take portrait photos of artists as well as VIP andamp; Legend ticket buyers at this year’s festival.

Single-day ticket prices for Montreux Jazz Festival Miami begin at $169, with VIP tickets at $569 and Legend tickets at $999. Payment plans are also available.
The 2024 inaugural edition of the festival featured Jon Batiste, Rock and Roll Hall Famer Daryl Hall, Queen of Axé Daniela Mercury, as well as Cimafunk, The Wailers, Cory Henry, Emily Estefan, Israel Houghton, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Lia de Itamaracá, Justin Kauflin, Adrian Cota andamp; The Winston House Band, ELEW, and Mathis Picard.
