“Home Less” showcases Riegling’s versatility as a gifted storyteller, weaving his personal narratives into his music. The song offers a candid and emotionally charged reflection on the highs and lows of life on the road, simultaneously expressing gratitude for the past and present.

Riegling shares his own memories, "In September 2022, I had the opportunity to see some of the national parks, before heading to the CCMA’s in Calgary. I remember driving into Jasper late one night and seeing the side of a mountain engulfed in flames. As we made our way down the highway we could see the rocky mountains poking through the smoke and clouds with the help of some moonlight, creating a very ominous silhouette. Sorta scary but beautiful.  Rewind a year earlier, I was out on the east coast touring for the very first time. I remember seeing one of the craziest sunrises I’d ever witnessed through tired eyes. The hotel coffee was 5/10, but I still drank it.”

Reflecting on the journey, “I’ve done more all-day-long drives over the past 2 years than a boy from Mildmay, Ontario could ever imagine. I find I do the most thinking in the car, and when I let my mind go, it always comes back to the people at home, the people who have supported me along the way, the people who I don’t get to see as much as I would like.  As I pack my bag for another all-day drive tomorrow, I wanted to share a bit of context to this one. God knows I love that I’m seeing more but hate that I’m coming home less."

After winning the 2022 Emerging Artists Showcase at the Canadian country music mega-fest Boots andamp; Hearts, Riegling signed his record deal with Universal Music Canada.  Prior to the standout addition “Home Less”, Riegling’s growing discography comprised of upbeat debut single “Love (The Sweater Song)”“Weekend You”, and the current radio single “Old Dirt Roads”.  Fan response continues as “Old Dirt Roads” steadily climbs charts, now #1 Most Added Country Radio, top #5 gaining track in Canada and seeing many adds across streaming platforms, including Spotify’s Hot Country and Apple Music’s Nashville-based Today’s Country. Riegling wrapped up 2023 as Apple Music’s UpNext Program and launches in 2024 selected as Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch and Amazon Canada’s Breakthrough Artists to Watch 2024. With over 14 million global streams, it is clear Riegling is maintaining his unstoppable pace and making his mark on the music industry.

Nominated for Rising Star at the 2023 CMAOntario awards and opening for Tim Hicks at Boots andamp; Hearts festival, one of Canada’s largest country music festivals, Riegling continues to captivate audiences on stage, including his performance at 2023 CCMA House amongst some of country music superstars including The War and Treaty, Dalton Dover and hitting the road as opening act to Country star, Tyler Hubbard Canadian sold-out tour.  Next month, Riegling joins Chase Rice as support across Canada, including shows in Toronto and Calgary, followed by various festivals throughout the summer.
