Iconic guitarist and songwriter SLASH has launched his first nationwide S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival Blues tour. The tour features a stellar lineup of blues musicians, including the Warren Haynes Band, Keb’ Mo’, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Jackie Venson, and Larkin Poe. SLASH, along with his Blues Ball Band—comprising Johnny Griparic (bass), Teddy ‘ZigZag’ Andreadis (keys/vocals), Michael Jerome (drums), and Tash Neal (vocals/guitars)—will also perform at every festival date, joined by other special guest vocalists. For tickets, visit SerpentFestival.com.

The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival coincides with the release of SLASH's sixth solo album, "Orgy of the Damned," available worldwide via Gibson Records. This album has held the #1 spot on the U.S. Blues Album Chart for six weeks and has also topped the Blues Album charts in the U.K. and debuted at #2 on the U.S. Rock Albums Chart, earning top 10 positions in seven countries globally.

SLASH and his Blues Ball Band performed a pre-festival gig at the Gibson Garage in Nashville. You can watch their performance of “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” live from the Gibson Garage on their website.

The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance and aims to have a significant social impact. SLASH has selected five nonprofit organizations to benefit from the tour proceeds, which will support marginalized communities and mental health initiatives. Through PLUS1.ORG, a portion of the proceeds from every VIP package and ticket sold will be donated to NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), The Equal Justice Initiative, Know Your Rights Camp, The Greenlining Institute, and War Child.

The festival's objective is to unite music fans and celebrate the spirit of the Blues, with SLASH and his band collaborating and performing with other blues artists. For information on VIP packages, visit serpentfestival.com/vip.

"Orgy of the Damned," SLASH's star-studded blues album, is a vibrant tribute to the genre and features 12 tracks. Guest vocalists on the album include Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Chris Stapleton, Iggy Pop, Gary Clark Jr., Billy F. Gibbons (ZZ Top), Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes), Dorothy, Paul Rodgers, Demi Lovato, Tash Neal, and Beth Hart. The album was produced by Mike Clink, with SLASH's Blues Ball Band providing the instrumental backing both in the studio and on the road.

"Orgy of the Damned" has received widespread acclaim, with features in Premier Guitar, Guitar World, and the Los Angeles Times, among others.
