SUPERNATURE is an independent music and arts organisation from South London, empowering artists to take control of their careers and leave their unique mark on the world.
The music industry doesn’t work for artists, so we’re on a mission to fix it: providing bespoke management and development services focused on freedom, community and sustainability. The role
We’re seeking a high-performing Product Manager with an exceptional understanding of music release, project and campaign management. You should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative approach. A deep understanding of digital marketing trends and a proven track record of successful product launches is critical.
What you’ll do
- Work with our artists, label partners and internal team to plan and execute release campaigns from both a creative and commercial perspective.
- Act as the central hub for release campaign management and communication, ensuring seamless sharing of information and assets across everyone involved in the project.
- Develop and execute full scope marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital-first, creative marketing and audience development.
- Integrate release campaigns with other artist activity (e.g. live and merch) as appropriate, taking a holistic approach to artist development at all times.
- Manage spend in line with approved release budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
- Coordinate digital and physical product deliveries with our Label Operations Manager, ensuring all audio and visual assets and metadata are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Commission creative assets including photography, artwork, music videos and social content. Engage and oversee the work of external creative teams.
- Engage and oversee external promo agencies and across press, radio, TV and more, managing promo schedules and requests. Attending promotional appearances with artists as required.
- Develop relationships with our sales partners (DSPs and retail), managing sales pitching and promotional opportunities.
- Plan and execute organic social, paid media and influencer marketing campaigns. Provide reporting and insights to inform active and future release strategies.
- Continuously document our processes and systems related to releases and campaign management.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and drive constant improvement in our release strategies, feeding back learnings, new developments and best practices to our team, artists and label partners.
About you
- A least 1 year’s experience in a product management or marketing management role within a front-line music company.
- A deep understanding of current music releasing and marketing standards and trends, with a strong product sense and the ability to identify market opportunities.
- A progressive and resourceful approach to music marketing, with a natural prioritisation of digital media, artist-fan relationships and creative marketing over traditional media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
- Uncompromising organisational and time management skills. The ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
- Natural drive and urgency, ability to adapt quickly to challenging situations and the resourcefulness to get the desired result, whatever it takes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools to track performance metrics.
- A natural affinity with our vision and values as a business. The ability to articulate these effectively and use them to inform decision making in your areas of the business.
