The Momentary, the newest cultural hub in Bentonville, AR, just announced that Grammy nominee Omar Apollo will perform at the venue on September 24. Apollo’s performance will be part of the venue’s Live on the Green concert series, which takes place on the Momentary’s sprawling outdoor lawn.
Live on the Green kicked off in April with a show stopping performance by Oscar and Grammy Award-winner, Jon Batiste, and recently featured a special concert by 12X Grammy Award-winner, John Legend. The John Legend show was extra special for the Bentonville community as it took place in the wake of the region’s devastating tornadoes.
The Momentary partnered with Cox Communications to thank the region’s first responders and those on the front lines of cleanup and service restoration for their work, by offering 400 first responders free tickets to the concert. The Momentary also partnered with the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank to collect donations for those experiencing food insecurity across the region - they collected 2,500 meals for the community.
The Momentary has become a coveted performance destination for Grammy winners and rising artists across all genres. Their Live on the Green series is set to continue throughout the summer, including three shows in July: Portugal. The Man(July 6), Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (July 14), and Lake Street Dive (July 17).
Later this summer, the Momentary’s Live on the Green series will host Slash (August 16), deadmau5 (August 24), TLC andamp; Shaggy (September 6), Gary Clark Jr. (September 7), Patti LaBelle andamp; Gladys Knight (September 13), and Kaskade (September 27).
Lawn chairs will be permitted at most Live on the Green concerts, with the exceptions of Deadmau5, Kaskade and TLC andamp; Shaggy, where a limited number of chairs will be available for guests who need specific accommodations. Tickets for all Live on the Green shows can be purchased at https://themomentary.org/.
Live on the Green, presented on the Coca-Cola Stage, is sponsored by the Coca-Cola Company and Cox Communications. For more information visitthemomentary.org.
