This morning, The War And Treaty, who have been hailed as “one of the most exciting live acts in American roots music” (LA Times), were announced as performers in the 98th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. On Thursday, November 28th, the duo will join an illustrious lineup of performers that includes Jimmy Fallon andamp; The Roots, Idina Menzel, T-Pain, Dan + Shay, Rachel Platten, and more. Tomorrow, the “powerhouse duo” (TODAY) will take part in Vice President Kamala Harris’ “When We Vote We Win” rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event, which is a part of the Harris-Walz campaign’s efforts to energize voters ahead of Election Day, will also feature Jon Bon Jovi, Kerry Washington, and DJ Cassidy.
Also on Saturday, The War And Treaty will be featured in Austin City Limits’ (ACL) new episode, alongside Jelly Roll. The episode will include electrifying performances of The War And Treaty’s standout singles, “Stealing A Kiss,” “Called You By Your Name,” “Leads Me Home,” and the GRAMMY-nominated, “Blank Page.” The new episode will premiere Saturday, November 2 at 8PM ET / 7PM CT as part of Austin City Limits anniversary Season 50. ACL airs on PBS stations nationwide and the full episode will be available to stream online at pbs.org/austincitylimits immediately following the broadcast.
Most recently, the duo performed their newest single, “Can I Get An Amen?” on the People’s Choice Country Awards,” where they received raves for their performance. Other recent national television performances include Jimmy Kimmel Live!, LIVE with Kelly and Mark, Celebrity Family Feud, the National Memorial Day Parade, and NBC Macy’s Fourth of July Special. The War And Treaty have been hot on the road this year, performing with Chris Stapleton and Zach Bryan on a variety of tour dates, as well as an opening slot with The Rolling Stones.
