Grammy Award nominated artist Troye Sivan today sets pulses racing with the release of the Bag Raiders remix of his hit single "Got Me Started” which features a sample of the iconic “Shooting Stars” by Bag Raiders. The remix infuses new life into the original track and delivers an electrifying blend of pulsating beats and infectious melodies.

Speaking about the collaboration when the song was originally released, Troye Sivan says: "When we were writing this song, I was emphatic about using 'Shooting Stars' — I just kept humming it in the studio. It’s a huge sample and was a big ask; and I knew that they had never approved it in the past. So, I was over the moon about the opportunity to sample that track because this song is iconic to me."

Bag Raiders were initially apprehensive when approached to clear the sample: “We knew Troye was working on something, he reached out and asked us to send him some stuff. I guess there was a bit of trepidation there, we were hopeful he’d send back something cool, but you never really know! Happily, when we heard it we were like, OK OK this is sick!”

Speaking about the remix, Bag Raiders expressed “We were keen to do a version that really amped up the 2-step / garage feel of the original. That’s what we loved about Got Me Started when we first heard it. We thought, what if we turn this up to eleven??”
