Anyone who’s been attending the “Hot Vegas Nights” residency by FRANKY andamp; THE ALL NIGHTERS since its launch this past June at Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas knows that band frontman FRANKY PEREZ specializes in raising roofs. The charismatic singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Vegas native FRANKY PEREZ—along with his eight accomplished musicians including ace guitarist Christian Brady, two background vocalists, and three dancers—are set to bring the house down again for the final and seventh show of their residency on Friday, October 18 at 9pm in the hotel’s Rocks Lounge showroom. Doors are at 8pm and admission is free.

“I’ve been doing this for a while, and one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to listen to and observe your audience,” says FRANKY. “You figure out what works and what doesn’t, then you trim the fat. Sometimes it requires tough decisions, like cutting songs you may love because they don’t fit the scope of a particular set. I enjoy it when a show takes you on an emotional journey, making you feel like you’re in it with the band for 90 minutes. I think we’ve achieved that, but we continue to tweak the show, as I firmly believe you can always do better—the audience deserves your best. On October 18, you can expect to see a band that wants nothing more than to blow you away! And we have some special guests who’ll be joining us.”

The FRANKY andamp; THE ALL NIGHTERS lineup is:
Franky Perez – Vocals, Guitar, Percussion
Christian Brady – Guitar
Doc Ellis – Bass
Tim Sellars – Percussion
Mario Dawson – Drums
Ramiro Nasselo – Trumpet
Mark Trag – Saxophone
Kevin Mullinax – Trombone
Oscar Alejandro – Keys
Tina Cookson – Lead Dancer Choreographer
Veronika Shatsylo – Dancer
Sarah LeClear – Dancer
Cassie Stone Brady – Background Singer
Anne Martinez – Background Singer

FRANKY andamp; THE ALL NIGHTERS pack serious musical heat. They’re fierce and passionate, with a pumping horn section, congas, showgirls, soulful rocking songs, and Latin music reflecting PEREZ’ roots.” I have a huge catalog of original music, and I’m very lucky that people want to hear it. ‘Run Down Nasty’ is an original that gets a huge crowd response, not only musically but also in its presentation, largely thanks to Tina Cookson, our lead dancer and choreographer. She outdid herself on that one, and it’s honestly something to be seen! As far as covers go, our take on ‘Whole Lotta Love’ is something else! Take Zep, Ike and Tina, Santana, and Tower of Power, throw them in a blender, pour it over ice, and you have our version. It’s a showstopper!”

FRANKY andamp; THE ALL NIGHTERS have been filling the hotel’s showroom since the residency began on June 7, the same day they released their LIVE IN LAS VEGAS EP. It consists of rousing versions of four popular and diverse songs—“The Stroke” (Billy Squier), “Missionary Man” (Eurythmics), “Tennessee Whiskey” (Chris Stapleton), and “Whipping Post” (Allman Brothers Band)—that were recorded at Red Rock Casino Resort, along with the studio bonus cut “Hot Vegas Nights.” Listen to the EP HERE, watch the “Hot Vegas Nights” video HERE, and read more about the EP HERE.

MORE QUOTES FROM FRANKY PEREZ ABOUT THEIR
“HOT VEGAS NIGHTS” RESIDENCY

•In what ways has the band grown as a musical unit during the residency?

When you have a band this size, it can be challenging to manage, but somehow, we make it work. I’m very selective about who I bring on stage—not only do you have to be an exceptional player, but you also need to see the bigger picture and carry yourself as if you have no doubt that you’re part of something special. I love and believe in every player and dancer in this band. What you see on stage is genuine; everyone is here for the right reasons.

•The audience response has been ecstatic, with plenty of love from locals who know you as well as hotel guests. Can you shed some light on how that audience response has galvanized you and the band?

This is my hometown, where I cut my teeth as an entertainer. The fact that people still come out after all these years, and that the audience continues to grow, means the world to me. All the hard work and dedication is paying off! This residency has been a dream.

•Are you able to talk about what Franky andamp; The All Nighters have coming up?

“We love playing Red Rock! It’s been my home base for a long time, and I will play there as long as they’ll have me. However, we also have our eyes set on a national audience and a showroom on the Strip!”

On the residency’s opening night, the audience included Eddie Trunk of SiriusXMJohn Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review Journal, singer Donovan Leitch, and guitarist Stoney Curtis.

“Not only is Franky a phenomenal singer and performer, but the entire band is stellar. A wide range of fantastic music played in a unique way only they can deliver. A truly great show and Vegas experience!”
Eddie Trunk, TrunkNation SiriusXM Radio

“A Las Vegas native, the ever-rocking Franky Perez is the heart and soul of his city. He and his backing band are all-in, every night, fully committed to a gold-standard performance.”
John Katsilometes, Las Vegas Review Journal

“It doesn’t get any more legit and ‘live’ than Franky Perez and The All Nighters! Every sensational, high-energy show takes the audience on an extraordinary musical journey from the downbeat to standing room encore.  Franky Perez and The All Nighters are ‘Simply The Best!’”
–Candace Davis-Martin, Corporate Director of Entertainment / Station Casinos
