Hāwane Rios’ album Kū Kiaʻi Mauna-Together We Rise, published by Media Apes and BMG, has won one of the most prestigious awards for world music, the Hawaiian Nā Hōkū Hanohano Music Award in the category Contemporary Album of the Year.
Hāwane Rios is a native Hawaiian singer and songwriter from Waimea, Big Island Hawaii. Her music is inspired by the traditional Hawaiian art of singing and dancing. Hāwane Rios’ debut album Together We Rise was released in 2019 in a binaural immersive headphone 3D version.
The 43rd Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, supported by the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts (HARA), took place in Hawaii on October 10, 2020. They are known to be the Hawaiian equivalent of the Grammys.
Bringing along Mudvayne and All That Remains, the tour begins in Rogers, Arkansas on August 2 and runs throughout the month before wrapping in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28
