The elevations come amid UTA’s announcement of several commitments around diversity, equity and inclusion, including making an industry-leading decision to significantly raise the pay of all assistants and entry-level employees, the donation of $1 million to social justice causes, unconscious bias training for all colleagues, and elevating senior leaders of color to the Board of Directors and Partnership. This year, UTA became the first of the major agencies to reach an agreement with the WGA ending the year-long contract dispute between writers and all talent agencies.
