Role: Graphic Design Intern

Burwood Media is looking for a part time Graphic Design intern to assist with our design needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute recurring design tasks for each brand including creation of localized admats, tour posters, merchandise designs, animations, logos and more

- Create assets and edit templates to be used for our social media and marketing platforms

- Assist our creative director with editing creative campaigns and branding.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Should be passionate about design, music, and eager to learn about design within the music space.

- Past experience with graphic design including illustration and animation.

- Knowledgeable about graphic design fundamentals such as: typography, layout, color, hierarchy, branding, resizing, and photo manipulation

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator

- Detail oriented and ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

- Video editing experience is a plus

- Pursuing or graduated with a degree in graphic design, visual communications, advertisement, or related field.

- Must have a portfolio to showcase the most current work.

- New York based and able to work from our offices in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is strongly preferred

This is an hourly position ($15/hour) or college credit.
