ROLE andamp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Income Tracking, Collection and Analysis (focus: Talent Management)

- Build and maintain system for tracking various revenue streams for managed talent within our growing portfolio

- Identify access points for reporting/data for each revenue stream. Troubleshoot until access is gained to all portals, or reporting personnel. ○

- Develop relationships with business managers and work to streamline efficient reporting processes

- Record all revenue into GL, index all support into an organized system. ○ Use historical income data andamp; conversations with talent managers to compute, support and post accruals

- Begin to identify trends, averages, assumptions, etc; test these against actual reporting to recognize potential errors

- Liaise with Corporate Accounting on any complex RevRec issues, apply as needed

- Process and own all day-to-day bookkeeping, cash collection, and bank reconciliation related to aforementioned tasks

- Revenue Month-End Close (Across Portfolio)

- Reconcile all cash received in bank, notify relevant stakeholders

- Invoice/bill any income or reimbursements due

- Assist Corporate Accounting with any revenue/accrual information needed

- Lock ledger by close date

- Pursue accounts receivable, and record cash payments

- Assist with audit(s) as needed, ensure record keeping is audit-ready

- Liaise cross functionally with other departments when necessary, jump in on ad-hoc projects as needed

WHO YOU ARE

- 5-7 years in accounting, income tracking, royalty/commission analysis, or account management at a business management firm

- Highly organized, and proficient in programs like Excel, Airtable, ERPs

- Ability to troubleshoot issues autonomously until they are resolved, but also to communicate when options are exhausted and you’ve hit a wall

- Outgoing personality, who is very comfortable with liaising with talent managers

- Can learn the nuances and personalities of the business, and leverage that effectively andamp; bring “customer service” approach to the function

- Loves music and excited to be a part of building something unique
