ABOUT THE ROLE

Shore Fire Media is looking for a sharp and ambitious Account Executive to join our team of publicists. 
We’re looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of pop culture, YouTube, TikTok, Triller, the music industry, and media worlds. We are seeking someone with the ability to handle a multi-faceted client roster that will include some or all of the following: content curators, digital stars, corporate business and technology accounts, pop culture figures, authors, podcasts, comedians, non-profits and musicians.

WHAT YOU HAVE

At least two to four years of previous PR experience
Bachelor’s degree
Positive, can-do attitude
Strong time management skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to coordinate multiple work streams under tight-deadline pressure (attention to detail is crucial, even for mundane tasks)
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong passion for social media and the culture on online platforms 
Strong relationships in the digital / creator communities 
Ability to understand and anticipate industry trends that will inform day-to-day functions
Ability to take initiative and problem solve
Tenacity and love a good challenge
Working knowledge of theatre, comedy, sports, technology, and business is a plus
Prior knowledge of how the print, television and online news media work and how to generate press
Candidate must be based in LA, NYC or Nashville


WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work closely with our publicity teams to help us shape and build out engaging angles, narratives and opportunities around our clients. Note: several clients for this role will be non-music clients.
Participate in campaign brainstorms and strategy sessions.
Draft press notes, press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, talking points, boilerplates, etc.
Assist with compiling campaign reports and press clippings.
Pitch interviews and stories for clients.
Schedule, set-up and facilitate in-person, virtual, and/or phone interviews, conferences, and artist appearances with media partners. Oversee logistics of appearances, interviews, showcases, album release parties, and events.
Coordinate client activities and press schedules with teams
Maintain client schedules.
Keep track of all online client activity - monitor social media, websites, and other pages daily
