Aloe Blacc Continues Covers Project with Rock My Soul Volume 2

Today, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc is excited to announce the continuation of his latest covers project, Rock My SoulVolume 2. Set to release June 28, this second installment of his two-part EP series sees Blacc covering iconic songs with his signature soulful twist. Rock My Soulshowcases Blacc's exemplary ability to reimagine and breathe new life into beloved classics. 

Volume 2 features a carefully curated selection of legendary tracks, including:

“Seven Nation Army” (originally by The White Stripes)

“Wonderwall” (originally by Oasis)

“Song 2” (originally by Blur)

“Everybody Hurts” (originally by R.E.M.)

“Born of a Broken Man” (originally by Rage Against the Machine)

 

As the same with Volume 1, in the weeks leading up to the full release, Aloe Blacc will unveil one track every Tuesday to continue his #TakeMeBackTuesday campaign, offering fans a nostalgic preview  of  some of the most idolized songs in music history. Today he shares the EP’s first single, “Seven Nation Army,” available now on all streaming platforms.

Aloe Blacc will be featured in a forthcoming documentary, Following Harry, that is premiering at Tribeca Film Festival on June 14. The film is an intimate portrait of Harry Belafonte whose work dedicated to social justice continued until his death in 2023 at age 96.
