Tennessee-native country riser Brandon Davis amassed a massive fanbase (3M+ followers) by way of viral videos on social media. Since earning his platform, he has been vocal about his support and love for US veterans through his music, as his grandfather served in the military and instilled a love of country in the singer.
Today (11.3), Davis shares a powerful tribute to our troops with “21 Guns,” out now via Big Yellow Dog Music.

“This song has been something truly special since the day we wrote it,” says Davis. “So many brave men and women give all they have to protect our country and keep us free to live the lives we’ve been given. ‘21 Guns’ is a small way that we can give back and say our thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and hopefully bring some comfort to their families through knowing they’re not alone as we stand behind them.”
“21 Guns” tells the story of many soldiers and their families, following the aftermath of a lost life sent off with a 21-gun salute as loved ones move forward to carry on the hero’s legacy.
Davis co-wrote “21 Guns” with BSAMZ (Lady Gaga, Kygo) and Brandon Wisham (Bailey Zimmerman). The song follows Davis’ inspirational 17-track album ‘Life’s Too Short’ (9.1).
Davis will share more new music in the near future. He’ll also play shows in North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee to end the year, including a support date opening for Lauren Alaina on November 11th.
